Team Tuesday - Keeping it Creel

Creel Tackle House is an institution in Turangi and has recently come under the new ownership of Grant Alley who has made a couple of clever wee tweaks to the business. Grant is an experienced guide having worked out of some of the south islands top lodges so he knows his stuff, which is confirmed by the fact he fishes an 8wt Scott Radian and loves it. Steven is part of the woodwork at Creel and a local fishing legend and fly tier. Funnily enough he's usually seen on the river fishing his 10ft 7wt Scott Radian, bit of a theme going here! Well, being the exclusive Scott dealer we'd expect them to be rocking the good stuff. You'll also see an extensive range of Airflo products, Manic flies and Lamson reels in the shop. Recently remodelled, Creel now has a great cafe tucked out the back serving up probably the best coffee out there, Supreme. So it's an awesome place to lurk in the mornings while you pick up your bread, milk, paper and coffee before you suit up and hit the river. Pop in next time and say hi and in the meantime check them out online here...
