Friday Fly Day - Bloody Good Buggers You Need To Meet

If you haven’t been hitting your local stillwaters then you really should do, right now. There are plenty of late season bows and some really good browns turning up in my neck of the woods. Simply find a good drop off, a weed bed, a shallow flat, or a stream mouth and fish them with a floater, or Airflo sinking line appropriate to the depth.

First and last light see the most activity as the temperatures drop but anytime you can get on the water is a good time. It’s hard to go past your favourite olive Woolly Bugger right? But here at Manic we realise that trout may get bored of your same old pattern, as you do, and so it’s always handy having something a little different in your box for that ‘wow’ factor. So, we have added these nifty additions to our 2020 Bloody Good Bugger collection to give you a few more options for anytime go-to’s.
