Now here's a throwback article that just seems to keep going and going. Whenever you can add a new technique or perspective to the Taupo fishery (and beyond) it's going to get noticed because, let's face it, winter fishing can sometimes be a wee bit monotonous and introducing some new spice to the mix can not only relieve the boredom but it also helps catch more fish.
