That's not a bonefish, this is a bonefish

I had some friends over from New Caledonia last week who spotted the image the image below of me with an Aitutaki bonefish at first they seemed impressed that I'd actually caught a bonefish, then the comment gets made, Thats just a small one, This is a Bonefish.

This bonefish from Aitutaki weighed in at 11pounds (just over 5kg) and measured 82cm to the tail fork...but applarently its just a baby.

So if my Bonefish was 11 pounds, who's going to call the weight on this one?
