One of Auckland’s better known fishing nuts has just joined the team at Botany Hunting and Fishing. Please help us welcome Alwin Haagner!
A man of many talents, Alwin has been a permanent fixture in the Auckland fishing scene working at specialist tackle stores, guiding punters onto a variety of species and even running his own rod and reel repair business ( https://www.facebook.com/BigAlsRodReelRepairs )
No stranger to the fly rod, Alwin brings a multitiude of skills to the Botany store which boasts a great range of fly fishing products including Simms, Scott flyrods, Airflo, Manic Flies etc.
This winter, when not at the shop, he’ll no doubt be catching a few at his favourite haunts around Rotorua and Taupo.
