Recently, Chris Dore found himself with a rare day off coinciding with Andrew Harding, Dan Thomas and buddy Darryl fishing down at ‘the local’. It would have been rude not to go flick a fly for an hour or two.
The river had been fishing tough, with heavy rain and snow melt lifting and chilling flows, and every fish to the fly was hard earned. Still, nailing casts made things happen and the fish fell for our flies. A bloody good day in the South.
