Team Tuesday - Guess what? It's Andrew Harding again!
"With a poor forecast locally, a back country river adventure was out of the equation, so Matt Hince and myself headed for the central North Island, 4 hours drive away. A great day trip with around eight good fish over 5lbs landed, numerous small ones and of course some good fish lost. Four of the fish went between 6 and 6.5lbs, very broad across the backs and in great pre-spawning condition.
Conditions (as is typical for this lake) was sun, calm, wind, rain, fog and clouds... it's high altitude means it really cops "four seasons in one day" weather and overnight rain made some muddy sections un-fishable... a long day and great company in stunning North Island alpine surroundings. Thanks to Matt for some of the film work."
