Team Tuesday - Craig Rist and the Tassie Trouts

"Hi guys, here are a couple of pics of Tasmanian early season Browns for you from my recent trip with Nick Reygaert. A couple of early season Lake Crescent Browns that took a large black and gold streamer fly. These fish are actively feeding on quite large Golden Galaxia at this time of year as these bait-fish begin to spawn in open water. The fishing can be tough at times but the rewards for perseverance in this Lake can yield a real trophy. The six weight Scott Radian and Lamson Speedster combo was nice fit and I had no difficulty throwing three and four inch streamers on this rod. This rod is going to be perfectly matched for the Western Lakes and the Bream Flats in Tasmania. Very happy to use such a sweet setup!"
