The Sporting Life Turangi Winter Fly Fest
As promised here a few more details for the upcoming Sporting Life Turangi - Winter Fly Fest on August the 12th. Really cool feedback from a bunch of crew from all over the country looking to attend so book your trip now, it's looking to be a very busy weekend in Turangi!
The day kicks off around 11am with some on river spey and Tongariro Roll Cast tutorials with Rene Vaz and Kyle Adams .
Then we all meet up at Sporting Life Fishing Outfitters for a bite to eat courtesy of the Traeger Grills guys.
From there we're all go with in store fly tying demos from Lucas J Allen , Peter Carty and Matt von Sturmer , our Manic crew will run some Simms gear tutorials and casting demos with Scott and Sage fly rods from Rene Vaz and Tore Nilsen .
The day will round off with a fly fishing photography talk from none other than the legend that is Stu Hastie before we end up at the Turangi Tavern for a wind down, gear auctions and live music.
