Opening day Scott G Series rod test

We put the new Scott G Series 8'8" 5wt fly rod to the test on a couple of nice browns on a river swollen by overnight rain. The rod came up trumps with it's ease of use and lovely mid action winning us over. The rod mends like a dream to complement the deep loading blank. Lovely stick.
