Loch Style Fly Fishing Clinic

There is a whole lot more to fishing lakes from a boat than just chucking flies out. Here is your opportunity to learn the how, the why and the when from English loch style legend John Horsey and really improve your lake fishing no matter what level you are at now. John has fished in New Zealand on several occasions and knows his NZ stuff. The clinics start with an informal meet and greet the evening before. On the clinic days there is a classroom session, followed by on the water tuition at either Lake Otamangakau or Rotoaira, and later on another chance to grill John and ask questions over dinner. The clinics are based at The Park travellers lodge in National Park. It's a terrific venue with a range of accommodation and facilities from flash-packers through to 3 star rooms, restaurant and bar. This is an awesome opportunity to learn loch style fishing and extend your skills for catching still-water trout.
