With new season looming we're pretty sure there's a lot of daydreaming of how many fish we're all going to be catching. The best thing we can do when it comes to landing time is to put the fish through as little stress as possible and not touching them if possible goes a long way to sending a fish back off that little bit happier.

In order to do our bit to help you do your bit we're going to giveaway one of these Ketchum release tools so you can not only have one more thing dangling from your utility vest but also to pop the hooks out nice and easy then old mate trout can get on his or her way.

Just email us here letting us know which size tool you want, this page has a bit more info for you.

Next week things are going to be getting a wee bit trickier but the reward will be all the better, all 9ft of it. (subtle no?)

Well it's official, we're heading into the dark times with only a few more weeks of the season left up our sleeves. There's been plenty of snow, wind and rain...more than enough to get you back into waders and with that comes wet gear being boofed into the back of the car. The Simms Taco Bags are a great alternative to the big bin for getting your gear to and from the river without bring all the dirt and wet stuff with it. We're giving one away...

"The sun has set and you're finally back to your truck. It's time to get out of your wading gear and into something dry and warm as quickly as possible. We designed our Taco Bag so you can stow your boots and waders quickly and efficiently at the close of a great day on the river. Set your wet, muddy gear on the Taco, zip it up and the whole pile stores neatly in your car or truck without leaving wet sand and debris all over your back seat. Mesh panels keep gear ventilated, and the PU-coated nylon build keeps moisture from wetting through."
