Techy Thursday - Simms G4 Pro Sling Pack
There’s something really liberating about leaving your vest at home and the freedom of a sling pack. I’ll admit to being a late adopter, but am so happy I have on fresh and salt. I gave the Simms G4 Pro Slingpack a really good workout on the flats of Kiribati and was really happy with how it stood up.
I’m a huge fan of the convenience of zingers, so loved being able to attach a couple to the front for nippers and pliers. We expect lots of organisation from Simms gear, and that was another tick, especially because I took gear for every eventuality and possibility. It’s really well thought out.
The compartment at the front opens flat and has more pockets. It’s unusual that I don’t drop something when I’m out fishing, so it can take the credit there for no lost fly boxes.
It’s a dream to wear in deeper water. Actually just really bloody comfy to wear full stop. And cool, I’m sure it makes me just a little bit cooler.
