Sunday Share - Tassie Western Lakes

By Simon Taylor 11/12/2017

A break in some poor weather allowed a quick trip into the Western Lakes with Darren, and even though it was super cold, the fish were about and keen to eat. After a short walk in, it was great fun polaroiding cruising fish along wind-blown shores on a small isolated lake. The first six fish spotted ate the fly, but unfortunately the first one hooked (and best) broke off after rolling about on top of the water at the end of the fight! Sight fishing Tasmania’s Western lakes is so much fun!
