Rob offers not just a days guiding but an angling experience not to be forgotten, with plenty of humor and tuition when throwing the fly.
Rob has over 20 years experience guiding in New Zealand. Rob has represented New Zealand competitively for over 15 years. Following success as the 2003 national fly fishing champion, Rob progressed to represent his country in two world championships in Slovakia and Slovenia and competed in Commonwealth and Oceania championships in Scotland, Tasmania and New Zealand.
Foundational to Rob's guiding service is his love for art, music ,photography and writing. Rob has written in many leading fly fishing magazines in New Zealand and abroad. With a background in graphic design Rob spends spare time painting, playing guitar and with his family. Recently Rob has trained in cross cultural studies and delights in meeting new cultures sharing this amazing creation, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
