We, as members of Northern Suburbs Fly Fishing Club (NSFFC), have a great fellowship and encourage new members Males, Females young and the more mature to join and participate in club events. We have a strong presence in the community and hold a number of events during the year. We hold each year a Kids come and try day and support the Cancer Council yellow daffodil appeal and local school programs.
The club offers beginner courses, fly trying courses and has a club library that offers a great range of books and DVD’s. We also hold events such as informal get-togethers like film nights, guest speakers, trivia nights, auction nights and excursions. One of our main events is the Annual Award Dinner held each year to celebrate the achievements of members. We regularly hold fishing trips throughout the year that not only give members the opportunity to go fishing but also experience fly fishing firsthand on some of Victoria’s pristine stream and rivers gaining knowledge from members while enjoying themselves. The club has its own club trailer that is equipped with camping gear, club marque and cooking equipment all for the use by members.
