Kingborough Anglers Association Inc., Tasmania

Are you interested in learning about freshwater fishing or meeting some like-minded anglers?
Our fishing club is a great place to learn about: fly fishing, fly tying, lure fishing, casting and most importantly, fishing for Wild Brown Trout.

Formed in May 1964, the Kingborough Anglers Association has a long standing history with Tasmanian trout anglers and affiliations with Inland Fisheries Service (IFS), Anglers Alliance Tasmania (AAT) and Southern Tasmanian Licensed Anglers Association (STLAA).

Club meetings are held at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of each month (except December), at the Southern Lights Hotel, Kingston View Drive, Kingston, Tasmania. Many meetings feature a guest speaker or a presentation on an interesting aspect of fishing.

Club Activities: - monthly meetings, monthly field days, annual dinner, annual bbq and family day and use of the Club Lodge on the shores of Bronte Lagoon, right in the heart of Wild Brown Trout territory.
