Friday Fly Day - Keller's She Demon

You may have noticed we stock a pretty extensive array of buggers here at Manic, and that’s pretty much because we fish all of them ourselves. A lot of anglers fish woolly buggers as they’re a fly that pretty much does it all, however we don’t want to show fish the same fly over and over, and variations for different situations are good, right?

New to the Manic stable, The Keller’s She-Demon is a slim bodied, beaded bugger with a longer, pulsing hackle and barred marabou tail. This pattern is a go to on those clear, calm stillwater days when the fish seem to just follow a standard pattern, and just at home swinging rivers on the two hander. In Olive, Brown and Black on a solid Gamakatsu size 8, the She-Demon is worth packing as a go to, or alternative for when the trout just won’t play ball.
