Egg Patterns (or Emerging Trout Patterns for the Purists)

Don't get caught up fishing all of the boring traditional egg patterns. These flies really work. They are far more realistic than the classic glo bug and are lethal on spawning rainbows in the Tongariro and other Taupo tributaries. Check out the pics above how realistic the Otters Soft milking eggs look in amoungst real trout eggs. These are definately a lot more realistic than the classic glo bug.
