Scott T2H Spey Rods
Our new series of Technical 2-Handers offer enthusiasts high performance rods to tackle any double handed fishing situation. Whether you’re targeting trout with ultra-light rods or working a salmon run with 1200 grains for the big boys there’s a T2H rod to help you do the job better. The rods are very light with responsive tips, progressive actions and plenty of power and support in the butt sections. They help eliminate torque from directional changes, and cast very smooth flat lines. The 2 hand assist rods cover situations where casting and fishing a single handed rod are enhanced by the ability to use a second hand assist in casting, and controlling drifts.

What's a Switch Rod?
A switch rod is not a rod designed for making Switch casts (you can do that with any two handed rod). A switch rod is a rod that you can "switch" from casting single-handed to two-handed and back again. Switch rods generally are between 10'6" and 11'0" long. In the T2H series we offer the 10'8" #5 and the 10'8" #8, and in the A3 Series we offer the 11'0" #8 Switch rod. The #5 is a perfect rod for swinging soft hackle flies through riffles or poking a woolly bugger under willows on smaller rivers. The two #8 Switch rods are more suited to fishing larger rivers like the Tongariro with sinking lines and large flies.
