Manic Tackle Project

Manic Trout Flies

At Manic we seriously want you to be successful in your fly fishing endevours. Yes, that means we want you to enjoy the whole experience; the tackle we sell, the rivers themselves and the skills that make up this awesome sport. But most of all we make it our responsibility to help you catch as many fish as you can. And it's with this in mind that we've decided to put together a range of trout flies for New Zealand and Australia made up of all of the secret patterns that we've been able to steal from our friends' fly boxes over the past few years. These include back country patterns from guys like Zane Mirfin, Mike Davis and Simon Chu; lowland secrets from Chris Dore and Bob Wyatt; Czech nymphs from Gareth Jones and Gary Lyttle; Stillwater patterns from Gary Lyttle and Rob Vaz, and to fill in the gaps I've thrown in a few of my own favourites and created a number of Manic twists on some classic patterns.

One thing's for sure about this fly range, it's not going to stay the same for long so make sure you keep an eye out for all of the new patterns as they come into the range. And if you think you've got something to share, then drop me a line on rene@manictackleproject.com and we can look at adding it to our range.
