The Manic Assassin reel is an ultra light reel designed to balance modern light weight fly rods (like the Scott rods). The reel is made completely out of machine cut 6061 aircraft aluminium, you wont find any plastic parts on this reel, the drag knob, spool tension, bearing and drag covers are all alloy. The result is a super strong but still very lightweight reel that is built to perform well beyond your expectations.
