Keep Your Line Clean Keep your line clean. Scum from the surface and general use can affect both the floating, and shooting properties of your fly line. Ever had trouble getting that line hand back up during the double haul? If you feel your techniques tight, then its a fair bet its your line. Clean your line regularly in warm, soapy water, before running it through a lubricant such as Airflos Whizz lube. Clean lines simply perform better! |

Before you make your cast When a big fush is sighted, dont rush in and ruin it. Figure out your 1, 2, 3's. Decide on not only the best position to cast to him from, but a second, and third position as backup. This not only gives you a pre planned, and well thought through option for if the fish moves, or something goes wrong with possie 1, but also gives you time to calm down, settle the nerves and think through the situation; often when searching for your alternate positions a much better # 1 will present itself. A relaxed and prepared angler is a good angler. |

For precise turnover and efficient energy transfer, you'd be hard pressed to find a better presentation line for Kiwi conditions than the Airflo Platinum Chalkstream.

I always like having the best stuff and when it comes to fly tying C&F Design is where it’s at. And once you’ve made those perfect flies C&F have the only fly boxes I would ever consider using. You might as well have the best!
