The Sporting Life Turangi Winter Fly Fest
As promised here a few more details for the upcoming Sporting Life Turangi - Winter Fly Fest on August the 12th. Really cool feedback from a bunch of crew from all over the country looking to attend so book your trip now, it's looking to be a very busy weekend in Turangi!
The day kicks off around 11am with some on river spey and Tongariro Roll Cast tutorials with Rene Vaz and Kyle Adams.
Then we all meet up at Sporting Life Fishing Outfitters for a bite to eat courtesy of the Traeger Grills guys.
From there we're all go with in store fly tying demos from Lucas J Allen, Peter Carty and Matt von Sturmer, our Manic crew will run some Simms gear tutorials and casting demos with Scott and Sage fly rods from Rene Vaz and Tore Nilsen.
The day will round off with a fly fishing photography talk from none other than the legend that is Stu Hastie before we end up at the Turangi Tavern for a wind down, gear auctions and live music.
