Stealth - very easy to miss

Well it took a while to finally get them but we did manage to land our shipment of Ridge Stealth lines a few weeks back and we are nearly out of them already (more on the way don't stress). So keep an eye out for these in your local stores, essentially they are a floating line in the same colour and taper as our popular Explorer taper. The difference is the last 12 feet of the tip are clear, this is a super good line for stalking vary trout on lakes and rivers. A bunch of the competition guys have been fishing them successfully on central north island lakes and a bunch of mates have also been fishing on back country rivers.

A few tips from the guys that have been fishing these lines, it's worth using whizz lube on another good line lubricant on them to keep them floating nice and high as the clear section doesn't have teflon in it (Teflon makes it milky so not so good for a clear tip).

Also the great thing about the lines is you can shorten your leader down, ie with a 12' clear tip and a 9' leader you already have 21 foot of clear. this will really help in the wind or when turning over heavy nymphs and bushy terrestrials.

The stealth is a dull olive line with a 12' clear tip.
